Urban trees aid in stormwater mitigation. The value of this ecosystem service exceeds $30 million in some cities. However, are all trees created equal in their ability to intercept and infiltrate precipitation? This talk will explore which structural characteristics make select tree species ideal for use in urban stormwater management.
