What’s the Buzz? Tree Health Analysis Research with Drones

Unmanned aircraft systems and miniature multispectral cameras have made aerial imagery tools more accessible to practitioners. A University of Minnesota research project utilized this technology to compare newly planted tree performance from four nursery production methods. This and other potential urban forestry uses will be discussed.
